Salute to Veterans

The Miami Sousa Band is a professional-level concert band based in Miami, Florida. The Miami Sousa Band’s mission is to perform repertoire from works programmed in Sousa’s lifetime in the Sousa-style performance practice while providing a concert band opportunity for professional-level musicians. Through this performance practice, the Miami Sousa Band provides an educational concert experience to all audience members.

Members of The Miami Sousa Band are local, professional musicians who have studied with some of the most notable musicians in America. With concerts designed for audience enjoyment, The Miami Sousa Band performs a wide variety of music including classical works, light music, virtuoso solos, novelties, and Sousa marches – which are performed throughout the concert as encores.

Founded in 2018, The Miami Sousa Band debuted at the Coral Ridge Presbyterian Church in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida as a part of their 2017-2018 Concert Series for their Patriotic Concert: Stars, Stripes, and Sousa. The Miami Sousa Band Corp. holds an Organizational Membership in the Association of Concert Bands, which includes BMI/ASCAP Blanket Licensure. The Miami Sousa Band Corp. is a registered trademark.
